The “No-Good” Game

Poor “good.” The word is so over-used, so tired, so boring. Choose one day of the week, for starters, for the “no-good” day. If anyone uses the word “good” in speech or in writing, everyone hearing or seeing the word goes “boo-hoo hoo.” The speaker (or writer) must replace “good” with another word.

In preparation, get your phones, tablets, computers, dictionaries, or thesaurus out and make a list of synonyms for “good.” My favorite replacement word for “good” is stellar. What a fantastic word to become a natural choice in language! So reach for the stars and grow your vocabulary in speech and on paper!
